The synergy between animation and music is a powerful creative force that can transport audiences to new dimensions.
Animation brings visuals to life, infusing them with vibrancy and imagination. It adds depth to the storytelling process, captivating viewers with its ability to depict the impossible.
When combined with music, an enchanting fusion occurs. The music amplifies the emotional impact of the animation, heightening suspense, evoking joy, or stirring melancholy. It guides the audience through the narrative, syncing perfectly with the animated sequences.
In the video example below, I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit various clips from an existing anime, and arrange it with the song “So Tough” by Chad Johnson to create a video that tells a story all its own.
I focused on syncing the beats to different points of the anime so that the music brings thew story to life. The crescendo near the end of the song highlights the dramatic ending of the video.
